1) What do you know about Covens or how we
could get in touch with anybody who could assist in our learning process?
I don’t know very much about covens, as I have been a
solitary since the beginning. As I usually recommend, Witchvox.com is usually
where witches go to find others of similar interests, teachers, or even covens
in their area.
2) How many people can you have in the circle
while performing a spell or ritual?
It depends on how many you can gather, how many you feel
comfortable being around…in other words it’s up to you and the others in the
group. In a coven, there are usually no more than 13 people practicing
together; but there can be others observing their work (if permitted), lending
energy to the group. As I said it depends on how many you feel comfortable
working with.
3) Do Witches have their own Church or groups?
Witches sometimes gather into groups known as “Covens”. They
gather at specific times of the month or year to celebrate either Full Moons or
the Sabbats (Witches Holidays).
4) Do all Witches share the same beliefs and
practices?
No. Witches generally follow different traditions. Much like
the different traditions of Wicca and/or other religions, they would follow
different practices and beliefs.
